There are two different ways to use a Color Splitz pens and both give you a completely different effect:

Holding the pen fairly flat will give you a single colored wide line like an ordinary felt tip marker or pen.
If you lift the end of the pen upwards (80 degree angle or higher) , the second color comes into effect, giving you an amazingly wild second color in the middle that makes the pen write in what looks like 3D effects.
